Welcome to your NCSAM hub! Right here you can keep track of all our National Cyber Security Awareness Month updates, freebies, contests and more.
What’s NCSAM?The month of October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month! Cyber security affects everyone and in order to be safe we all must be aware! Our goal during this month will be to spread the word about building a safer internet and encourage others to do the same. So pass on what you learn from us and other NCSAM Champions to your friends, family, coworkers and anyone else you run into. Raising awareness is the best way to fight back against cybercrime, and the only way to get people of all ages involved!
Throughout October we will be giving away tons of freebies! Think infographics, posters, stickers, t-shirts and more! We’ll also share cyber security tips and tricks every day. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn for all our updates. We will also be participating in a Twitter Chat every Thursday. Each week will have a new theme, so be sure to follow #ChatSTC and tune in!
GiveawaysAnother year, another chance for you to win lots of cool swag (and a new Security Cat T-shirt, of course)! Our first raffle has ended and 10 lucky winners have been chosen. However, the second raffle – aimed at security awareness program managers – has begun!
Both raffles have now ended. Check back with us next NCSAM (and throughout the year!) for more contests.
Twitter ChatsEach week of NCSAM @STOPTHINKCONNECT is hosting a #ChatSTC Twitter Chat! We will be answering their questions every Thursday during October – join us by following #ChatSTC on Twitter. Below are each week’s topics, dates and times! See you there!
